CVSS v3.1 |
| On affected platforms running Arista EOS, when multiple gRPC Network Security Interface (gNSI) transports are configured, a race condition in the gNSI Authz service may cause a policy rotation to fail silently. An authenticated user whose access was revoked by the new policy may retain unauthorized access to gRPC interfaces. This does not affect Bootz.
This issue was discovered internally by Arista, and the company is not aware of any malicious exploitation of this vulnerability in customer networks. |
| On affected platforms running Arista EOS with Open Shortest Path First version 3 (OSPFv3) configured, an unauthenticated attacker on the same OSPFv3 broadcast domain can send a specially crafted set of packets that can cause the Ospf3 agent to restart unexpectedly. The crash results in the loss of all OSPFv3 adjacencies on the affected device and may disrupt routing across the broader OSPF domain until the agent recovers.
This issue was reported externally by Dravanet Inc., and Arista is not aware of any malicious exploitation of this vulnerability in customer networks. |
| On affected platforms running Arista EOS with Open Shortest Path First version 3 (OSPFv3) configured, a specially crafted packet can cause the OSPFv3 agent to restart unexpectedly. |
| An unauthenticated P4Runtime (Programming Protocol-Independent Packet Processors Runtime) client can achieve arbitrary code execution under certain conditions on affected platforms running Arista EOS configured with P4Runtime. P4Runtime is disabled by default in Arista EOS. By crafting a malicious packet during the initiation of a P4Runtime session, an attacker can obtain complete administrative control over the compromised switch.
This issue was discovered internally by Arista, and the company is not aware of any malicious exploitation of this vulnerability in customer networks. |
| On affected platforms running Arista EOS with Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) configured, SNMPv3 local or remote user credentials may be exposed as a one-way hashed, localized key value within the device's running and sanitized configurations. An authenticated user who gains access to this sensitive information could leverage it to perform unauthorized read operations on SNMP tables or to send fraudulent trap notifications to the Network Management System (NMS).
This issue was discovered internally by Arista, and the company is not aware of any malicious exploitation of this vulnerability in customer networks. |
| Dell ECS versions 3.8.1.0 through 3.8.1.7, and Dell ObjectScale versions prior to 4.4.0.0, contains an Use of a Broken or Risky Cryptographic Algorithm vulnerability. A high privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Information exposure. |
| A heap-use-after-free vulnerability exists in H5T__conv_f_f() in src/H5Tconv.c in HDF5 before 1.14.2. When converting a compound datatype containing floating-point members during a dataset read, a temporary buffer allocated with calloc() is freed and subsequently read from within the same conversion routine. An attacker who can supply a crafted HDF5 file containing a specially constructed compound datatype can trigger the use-after-free when the file is parsed by an application that reads the affected dataset, such as h5dump. This can result in a crash and, depending on heap layout and allocator behavior, may be exploitable for further memory corruption up to remote code execution. |
| Control iD iDSecure versions prior to 4.8.3.0 are affected by an unauthenticated Denial of Service.
The /api/license/restartService endpoint is reachable without authentication and invokes an internal routine that terminates the iDSecure service process and relaunches it by way of a generated batch script. An unauthenticated remote attacker can call this endpoint repeatedly to hold the service in a continuous restart cycle, rendering it unavailable. |
| Control iD iDSecure versions prior to 4.8.3.0 are affected by an unauthenticated Denial of Service.
The /api/dguardintegration/dguardVersion endpoint dereferences DGuard integration login state that may be unset, raising an unhandled null reference exception. The exception is thrown from an asynchronous method that returns void, so it is not observed by a caller and can terminate the iDSecure process. |
| Composer is a dependency Manager for the PHP language. From 1.0 until 2.2.30 and from 2.3.0 until 2.10.3, a malicious or compromised dependency can bypass the earlier CVE-2026-59946 binary-path hardening because Composer validates literal parent-directory segments only during dependency resolution, while the symlink and installed-metadata paths described by the advisory skip that validation. A package can ship an in-package binary symlink that resolves outside its installation directory, or attacker-influenced vendor/composer/installed.json metadata can provide an escaping binary path during a reinstall or regeneration of missing vendor/bin entries. The installed-metadata path is reachable only when the vendor directory was not populated by the same validated install run, such as when it is restored from an untrusted cache, copied from an earlier build stage, carried over from an older Composer run, or writable by a lower-trust build step. Composer can follow the path, change the external target's permissions to make it world-readable and executable, and create a runnable vendor/bin proxy to that external file. The issue does not directly read or transmit data and does not by itself provide remote code execution. This issue is fixed in versions 2.2.30 and 2.10.3. |
| node-opcua is an OPC UA implementation for TypeScript and Node.js. Prior to node-opcua-client 2.145.0, the internal fieldsToJson method in packages/node-opcua-client/source/alarms_and_conditions/client_alarm.ts directly assigns unsanitized field names and allows a __proto__.pollutedKey path to modify Object.prototype. Successful exploitation requires an application to expose attacker-controlled event fields to fieldsToJson and may cause denial of service or application logic corruption. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.145.0. |
| node-opcua is an OPC UA implementation for TypeScript and Node.js. From 2.0.0 until 2.170.0, node-opcua clients using the default keepSessionAlive setting can enter a repeated reconnection cycle when an OPC UA server's clock skew causes BadInvalidTimestamp responses. ClientSessionKeepAliveManager._ping_server treated the server-originated ServiceFault as a network outage and forced a transport reconnect, while ClientTCP_transport._on_ACK_response used socket.end() after failed HEL/ACK negotiation and could leave the connection in FIN-WAIT-2 when the peer did not close. Repetition at the keepAliveInterval accumulates file descriptors and memory until the client process or container can be terminated by resource exhaustion. This issue is fixed in version 2.170.0. |
| Under certain circumstances on affected platforms running Arista EOS with gRPC Network Packet Sampling Interface (gNPSI) enabled, an unauthenticated gNPSI client can craft a malicious request to allow arbitrary code execution, granting an attacker full administrative control over the compromised switch. |
| Under certain circumstances on affected platforms running Arista EOS with gRPC Network Packet Sampling Interface (gNPSI) enabled, the gNPSI client credentials might be logged in clear text in local or remote accounting logs to authenticated users. |
| A vulnerability in the sftunnel inter-device communication protocol of Cisco Secure FMC Software and Cisco Secure FTD Software could allow an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker to impersonate the peer device and obtain access at the level of the manager role, which is equivalent to root.
This vulnerability is due to improper management of the TLS certificate for the sftunnel management connection. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by connecting to the sftunnel port using a crafted TLS certificate. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to become a registered sftunnel peer with root access.
Note: The attack is successful only if the sftunnel connection is down or the attack can disrupt the sftunnel connection long enough to execute the attack. |
| A vulnerability in the DNS over TCP implementation of Cisco Secure Firewall Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the TCP DNS response handler to unexpectedly restart, causing the device to reload.
This vulnerability is due to a logic error when parsing a DNS query and tracking the size of the incoming buffers. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by formatting a crafted reply to a DNS query sent from the targeted device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the device to reload, causing a denial of service (DoS) condition.
Note: The attacker must be able to respond to DNS queries from the device, either by controlling the DNS service or through a machine-in-the-middle attack. |
| A vulnerability in the access control list (ACL) Object Group Search (OGS) implementation of Cisco Secure Firewall Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to bypass configured access controls.
This vulnerability is due to a logic error in populating group access control policies (ACPs) with OGS configured. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending traffic that should be blocked through the device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to bypass access controls and reach devices in protected networks. |
| OpenSlide is a C library for reading whole slide image files. From 3.4.1 until 4.0.1, OpenSlide's parse_level0_xml() processing in src/openslide-vendor-ventana.c accepts nonpositive row or column tile counts from a crafted Ventana BIF file. The invalid counts produce attacker-controlled relative memory offsets and allow arbitrary values to be written at those offsets, affecting all supported platforms and configurations and resulting in a crash or potential arbitrary code execution. This issue is fixed in version 4.0.1. |
| OpenSlide is a C library for reading whole slide image files. Prior to 4.0.1, a behavior change in libtiff 4.7.1 causes the indirect TIFF tile path in src/openslide-decode-tiff.c and _openslide_tiff_read_tile() to request a full-height destination for a partial bottom tile row, allowing uninitialized heap memory to enter pixel data returned by openslide_read_region(). A crafted but valid slide can trigger the issue in TIFF-based formats other than Hamamatsu NDPI when a network service renders attacker-provided slides. Successful extraction depends on pixel transparency handling and recompression, OpenSlide with libtiff 4.7.0 or earlier is not affected, and official binary builds 4.0.0.10 and 4.0.0.11 are affected. This issue is fixed in OpenSlide 4.0.1 and official binary build 4.0.0.12. |
| Svelte devalue is a JavaScript library that serializes values into strings when JSON.stringify isn't sufficient for the job. Prior to 5.9.2, devalue.parse does not reject out-of-bounds indices that are greater than or equal to values.length in src/parse.js. A specially crafted untrusted payload can make the parser alternate between array representations, producing quadratic work as the payload grows and causing denial of service in applications that parse untrusted devalue data. This issue is fixed in version 5.9.2. |
