| Improper Enforcement of Message Integrity During Transmission in a Communication Channel vulnerability in Mitsubishi Electric MELSEC MX Controller MX-R model, MELSEC MX Controller MX-F model, Master/local module, CC-Link IE TSN interface board, Motion module, MELSEC iQ-L Series Motion Module, Motion Control Board, Block-type remote module, Block-type remote module with safety functions, Analog-Digital converter module, Digital-Analog converter module, CC-Link IE TSN compatible coupler, FPGA module, Tension meter, AC Servo MELSERVO-J5, AC Servo MELSERVO-JET, Liner Track System MTR-S series Linear track control module, Inverter FR-A800/F800/E800 Series, Industrial Robot CR800-D series controller Network Base Card, CC-Link IE TSN expansion unit, CC-Link IE TSN-CC-Link IE Field Network bridge module, CC-Link IE TSN-AnyWireASLINK bridge module, Energy Measuring Unit CC-Link IE TSN Communication Unit, GOT3000 Series, CC-Link IE TSN Communication Unit, Motion Control Software, CC-Link IE TSN Communication Software for Windows, Analysis Support Software MELSOFT VIMA, Master/Local module Designated communication LSI DeviceKit, Remote Station Communication LSI with GbE-PHY, CC-Link IE TSN Master/Local module Designated communication LSI SDK, and Remote station software development kit allows an attacker with access to a CC-Link IE TSN network to tamper with communication data (control input/output values) by sending specially crafted packets under specific timing conditions. This could allow the attacker to cause a denial-of-service (DoS) condition in the affected product by interfering with its control function or causing it to operate incorrectly. |
| In Sooma 2GEN brain stimulator, an attacker within Bluetooth range can make unauthenticated changes to brain stimulation
parameters. |
| Improper enforcement of message integrity in PostgreSQL GSSAPI support allows a user to negotiate GSSAPI contrary to pg_hba.conf rules, via initial direct TLS connection. Despite a pg_hba.conf that appears to require GSSAPI, the connection may exchange data over TLS encryption alone. If the TLS settings are more permissive than the GSS settings, the connection may continue with lesser protection. Within major versions 17-18, minor versions before PostgreSQL 18.6 and 17.11 are affected. Versions before PostgreSQL 17 are unaffected. |
| Arc is an open, SQL-native time-series database for telemetry. Prior to version 26.06.1, Arc Enterprise's cluster replication receiver at `internal/cluster/replication/receiver.go` validates only the wire-format envelope (length, opcode) of inbound messages. The `MsgReplicateSync` payload itself is accepted without any application-layer authentication — no HMAC, no signature, no per-message nonce. The replication stream is protected at the transport layer by TLS / mTLS, but there is no protection against application-layer message tampering or replay once a peer is on the cluster network. This is fixed in 2026.06.1. Some workarounds are available. Restrict cluster network access to known-trusted peers via strict firewall rules, audit replication logs for unexpected `MsgReplicateSync` traffic, and/or disable cluster mode until the fix is available. |
| Improper Enforcement of Message Integrity During Transmission in a Communication Channel vulnerability in Erlang/OTP ssl (tls_gen_connection module) allows a network-positioned attacker to inject unauthenticated plaintext that the TLS client application later treats as authenticated server data.
The function tls_gen_connection:handle_protocol_record/3 rejects APPLICATION_DATA records that arrive in pre-handshake states when the TLS endpoint acts as a server, but does not apply the same check when the endpoint acts as a client. A network-positioned attacker can send plaintext APPLICATION_DATA records to the client during the handshake. The records are buffered and, once the handshake completes successfully, delivered to the application as if they were authenticated post-handshake data. The attacker cannot observe the client's response or steer the connection, so the impact is limited to blind injection of unauthenticated bytes. The injection window is wider for TLS versions prior to TLS 1.3 than for TLS 1.3.
This vulnerability is associated with program file lib/ssl/src/tls_gen_connection.erl.
TLS 1.3 is affected starting with OTP 22.0, when TLS 1.3 support was added.
This issue affects OTP from OTP 17.0 before OTP 27.3.4.14, from OTP 28.0 before OTP 28.5.0.3, and from OTP 29.0 before OTP 29.0.3, corresponding to ssl from 5.3.4 before 11.2.12.10, from 11.3 before 11.6.0.3, and from 11.7 before 11.7.3. Whether OTP before OTP 17.0, corresponding to ssl before 5.3.4, is affected is unknown. |
| Coturn is a free open source implementation of TURN and STUN Server. Prior to 4.15.0, an on-path attacker can append attributes after MESSAGE-INTEGRITY to an authenticated STUN request on plain UDP or TCP, adjust the STUN header length, and recompute the unkeyed FINGERPRINT while the original HMAC remains valid because it covers only the message prefix. Server-side parsing in src/server/ns_turn_server.c continues past MESSAGE-INTEGRITY through handle_turn_allocate(), handle_turn_create_permission(), handle_turn_refresh(), and handle_turn_command(), allowing trailing LIFETIME, XOR-PEER-ADDRESS, or ORIGIN attributes to override allocation lifetime, inject a permission, or bypass the origin check. TLS and DTLS deployments prevent this in-transit modification. This issue is fixed in version 4.15.0. |
| A vulnerability in the TCP Normalizer of Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software operating in transparent mode could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to poison MAC address tables, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) vulnerability. This vulnerability is due to incorrect handling of certain TCP segments when the affected device is operating in transparent mode. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted TCP segment through an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to poison the MAC address tables in adjacent devices, resulting in network disruption. |
| DVP80ES3 with Improper Enforcement of Message Integrity During Transmission in a Communication Channel vulnerability. |
| An authenticated SSH client that repeatedly opened channels which were rejected by the server caused unbounded memory growth, eventually crashing the server process and affecting all connected users. Rejected channels are now properly removed from the connection's internal state and released for garbage collection. |
| A Gardyn Azure IoT Hub connection string is downloaded over an insecure HTTP connection in Gardyn Home Kit firmware before master.619, Home Kit Mobile Application before 2.11.0, and Home Kit Cloud API before 2.12.2026 leaving the string vulnerable to interception and modification through a Man-in-the-Middle attack. This may result in the attacker capturing device credentials or taking control of vulnerable home kits. |
| An attacker could exploit the vulnerability by
injecting garbage data or specially crafted data. Depending on the data injected each process might be
affected differently. The process could crash or cause communication issues on the affected node, effectively causing a denial-of-service attack. The attacker could tamper with the data transmitted, causing
the product to store wrong information or act on wrong data or display wrong information.
This issue affects Advant MOD 300 AdvaBuild: from 3.0 through 3.7 SP2.
For an attack to be successful, the attacker must have local access to a node in the system and be able to
start a specially crafted application that disrupts the communication.
An attacker who successfully exploited the vulnerability would be able to manipulate the data in such
way as allowing reads and writes to the controllers or cause Windows processes in 800xA for MOD 300
and AdvaBuild to crash. |
| A vulnerability was found in Samba's SMB2 packet signing mechanism. The SMB2 packet signing is not enforced if an admin configured "server signing = required" or for SMB2 connections to Domain Controllers where SMB2 packet signing is mandatory. This flaw allows an attacker to perform attacks, such as a man-in-the-middle attack, by intercepting the network traffic and modifying the SMB2 messages between client and server, affecting the integrity of the data. |
| An issue was discovered in SchedMD Slurm 22.05.x, 23.02.x, and 23.11.x. There is Improper Enforcement of Message Integrity During Transmission in a Communication Channel. This allows attackers to modify RPC traffic in a way that bypasses message hash checks. The fixed versions are 22.05.11, 23.02.7, and 23.11.1. |
| RADIUS Protocol under RFC 2865 is susceptible to forgery attacks by a local attacker who can modify any valid Response (Access-Accept, Access-Reject, or Access-Challenge) to any other response using a chosen-prefix collision attack against MD5 Response Authenticator signature. |
| The implementations of EAP-pwd in hostapd before 2.10 and wpa_supplicant before 2.10 are vulnerable to side-channel attacks as a result of cache access patterns. NOTE: this issue exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2019-9495. |
| The implementations of SAE in hostapd before 2.10 and wpa_supplicant before 2.10 are vulnerable to side channel attacks as a result of cache access patterns. NOTE: this issue exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2019-9494. |
| CWE-924: Improper Enforcement of Message Integrity During Transmission in a Communication Channel vulnerability
exists that could cause partial loss of confidentiality, loss of integrity and availability of the HMI when attacker performs
man in the middle attack by intercepting the communication. |
| Windows DNS Spoofing Vulnerability |
| When curl < 7.84.0 does FTP transfers secured by krb5, it handles message verification failures wrongly. This flaw makes it possible for a Man-In-The-Middle attack to go unnoticed and even allows it to inject data to the client. |
